In a few days, we’re going to announce a free screening event in December to preview the upcoming PBS documentary ANDREW JACKSON: GOOD, EVIL AND THE PRESIDENCY. Jackson’s role in the history of Tennessee is well-documented. and we have the streets to prove it. Have you ever tried to explain the north and south loops of Old Hickory Blvd. to a newcomer? Or maybe you live off the south loop and have a friend visiting from Kentucky and they call you lost in the Rivergate Mall parking lot? I digress.
In 2001, NPT gave viewers Rachel and Andrew Jackson: A Love Story. ANDREW JACKSON: GOOD, EVIL AND THE PRESIDENCY promises to focus on Jackson’s role as the seventh President of United States, and ultimately, how he left his mark on the position and the executive branch.
Check back here in a few days for info on the screening.
