President Obama’s speech on United States policy in Afghanistan, scheduled for Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. CT will air on NPT2 (Comcast Digital Cable channel 241, Charter Digital Cable channel 176 and over-the-air on channel 8.2]. The NewsHour will provide a short analysis immediately following the speech. We will join Soundstage in progress when the speech and analysis concludes. Programming on our main NPT channel will not be changed. The NewsHour will offer full analysis of the speech during its normal broadcast on Wednesday, December 2, at 6:00 p.m.
