Annette’s ideas for fresh corn:

Microwave method
1. To microwave one ear of fresh corn, remove a few outer husks, but leave on the remaining husks and silks.
2. Roll ear in wax paper, twisting each end.
3. Microwave for 3:00
4. Shuck, roll in butter, and enjoy.

To freeze fresh corn
1. Place about 6 ears of corn in a large pot of boiling water. Boil for 5:00.
2. Remove ears from pot and submerge in a pan of ice water for about 5:00, turning ears to cool evenly.
3. Drain ears.
4. Cut off corn with sharp knife. Place in freezer bags. Squeeze out air and seal. Keeps for 6 months.

Recipe for quick herb mustard:
*1-1/2 cups Dijon mustard
*1-1/2 TBSP dry white wine or rosy wine
*up to ¼ cup chopped fresh herbs (a single herb or a combination)
suggestions include: garlic chives, basil, mint, thyme, marjoram, or rosemary
