We’ll visit Tennessee’s Bicentennial Mall to learn how native trees are benefiting from frequent applications of compost tea. Then, we’ll spotlight sedum—a carefree perennial that likes to show off at the front of the border as well as in containers. And we’ll also tour a garden that features a little bit of everything from perennials to water plants.

Julie Berbiglia discusses several common trees, shrubs and plants that have been labeled as invasive and offers ways to eradicate them from your yard. Julie then continues down a different garden path, one that is easy on the back and muscles. She visits the Davidson County Master Gardener’s demonstration garden and finds unique structures designed and built by master gardeners for easy access gardening. And Troy Marden hosts a collector’s corner with plants so new they aren’t on the market yet.
