Italian Cheese Spread

Italian Cheese Spread

  • Italian Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons basil
  • 1 Tablespoon parsley
  • 1 Tablespoon chives
  • 1 Tablespoon thyme
  • 1 Tablespoon marjoram
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese or goat cheese

Mix all herbs; yields 1/3 cup. Add 1 tablespoon herb mixture to the cheese and blend thoroughly. If desired, add a pinch of coarsely ground black pepper. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve with your choice of bread of crackers.

NOTE: Soften cream cheese or butter by leaving out of the refrigerator for 2 - 4 hours. Do not microwave to soften.
