Please join us for a conversation inspired by Louder Than Guns with Ketch Secor (Old Crow Medicine Show), David Greene (Left, Right & Center podcast), and Doug Pray (the film's director), moderated by Dr. Sarah Childress of Nashville PBS.

This event is free, but reservations are required.

‘A SLICE OF THE COMMUNITY’ LIVE TAPING – THE NEW SOUND OF TENNESSEE HIP-HOP

Join Nashville PBS host Jerome Moore for a live taping and broadcast of A Slice of the Community highlighting Tennessee’s hip-hop scene. From Nashville to Clarksville to Knoxville, rising artists 2’Live Bre, Tim Gent, and Daisha McBride (Rap Girl) share how their music reflects community, culture, and the evolving sound of the South as they combine local pride with statewide impact.

This event is free, but reservations are required. Food will be provided by Five Points Pizza, Slice‘s official pizza sponsor.

Doors open at 7:15 p.m. The live show taping begins promptly at 8 p.m.


 

Nashville PBS’ Be My Neighbor Day

Be My Neighbor Day

Saturday, Oct. 4, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Centennial Park/2500 West End Ave., Nashville TN 37203

Head to the Kidsville area of the free Celebrate Nashville Festival and you’ll find Nashville PBS celebrating Be My Neighbor Day! We’ll have fun, free activities for children along with books and other giveaways. Powered by PNC’s Growing Up Great program.

Aging Matters Coffee & Conversations

Join us at 10 a.m. the first Thursday of every month at a FiftyForward center near you!

Each month we’ll screen an Aging Matters documentary at a local FiftyForward center, followed by conversation and light refreshments. 

These events are free, but please RSVP because space is limited.

Screenings take place the first Thursday of each month.
