‘A SLICE OF THE COMMUNITY’ – BIPARTISAN INSIGHTS ON GOVERNING TENNESSEE

Join host Jerome Moore and guests Sen. Mark Pody (R-Lebanon) and Rep. Caleb Hemmer (D-Nashville) for a discussion about how state leaders work with communities, navigate shared challenges, and help shape a stronger Tennessee for everyone through bipartisan efforts.
This event is free, but reservations are required. Food will be provided by Five Points Pizza, Slice’s official pizza sponsor.
Doors open at 6 p.m.; the taping begins promptly at 6:30 p.m.
WNPT’S ‘MADE IN THE WEST’ ADVANCE SCREENING EVENT

Join Nashville PBS for a free preview screening of Made in the West, our co-production about American functional art in the American West and the tradition of passing skills from one generation of craftspeople to the next. The event includes a reception and a discussion with coppersmith/silversmith Ben Caldwell and sculptor/woodworker Brad Sells, two artisans featured in the film, moderated by Harris Haston, chairman of the nonprofit By Western Hands.
A SLICE OF THE COMMUNITY’ – THE COMEDIC RISE OF NASHVILLE

Join host Jerome Moore and guests Matt Anderson of Bless The Mess, CJ Walton from 9-1-1 Nashville, and Cortney Warner of The Blue Room as they discuss the community, talent, and momentum fueling Nashville’s growing comedy scene. A 15-minute clean comedy set will be performed after the taping.
